  1. Wait … there’s a Team Canada, a Team U.S. AND a Team North America – how does that work? Is Team North America made up of a combination of Team Canada and Team U.S. rejects?

  2. re: ER having missed the memo on the World Cup – the Team North America is the new name for “Team Rising Stars.” It’s made up exclusively of players who are under the age of 23 on 10/1/16 – who are NOT eligible for Team USA or Team Canada.

  3. Thanks Tab.

Please clarify – does “It’s made up exclusively of players who are under the age of 23 on 10/1/16 – who are NOT eligible for Team USA or Team Canada.” mean that players on Team Canada and Team USA must be 23 or older – or what makes players ineligible for Teams Canada and USA?

  4. Goaltending and defense will be a big problem for Team NA. I don’t expect them to do well. Team Canada will be the team to beat. They only gave up three goals all tournament at the last Olympics and with Price, Keith, Weber and Doughty back they won’t give up much more come 2016.
