AHL Realignment Approved

On Thursday morning, the AHL Board of Governors approved realignment for the 2013-14 season.

The Rockford IceHogs will play in the Midwest Division of the Western Conference with the Chicago Wolves, Grand Rapids Griffins, Iowa Wild and Milwaukee Admirals.

    Because the Peoria Rivermen were bought by Vancouver and moved to Utica, Ratboy36isaLeaf.

    Still a bit of Wings Hawks rivalry stays…..I thought the Griffins might head east as well.

    I cannot see the Griffins moving east when Rochester, Lake Erie, Hamilton, Toronto, Charlotte and Utica are all still in the west.
    Since I live in GR, I am happy to be seeing the Hogs still coming to town!
