Andrew Shaw, Rob Flick Sign With Rockford

On Thursday morning, the Rockford IceHogs announced that they have signed forwards Andrew Shaw and Rob Flick to one-year AHL contracts.

Shaw, 20, a fifth round (#139 overall) draft pick this summer, is the first of the Blackhawks draft picks from the 2011 NHL Draft to sign a contract within the organization.

Flick, 20, was drafted by the Blackhawks in the fourth round (#120 overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.

Shaw and Flick were two of the more impressive players at the Blackhawks prospect camp in July.
