I received the following April Fool’s Day joke as an email in 2005:
“In a stunning turn of events, the Chicago Blackhawks have become relevant again! The organization has signed a deal to put all games on local television, and they have a chance to make the playoffs. In fact, they might actually be profitable this year!”
Six years ago, I laughed out loud when I read this on April 1.
I forwarded the email back to the friend that sent it to me on June 10, 2010.
