Before Wednesday night’s game, the Blackhawks have made a trade.
Jack Skille and prospects Hugh Jessiman and David Pacan have been dealt to the Florida Panthers to center Michael Frolik and goalie Alexander Salak.
Frolik, 22, is in his third NHL season; he scored 21 goals in both of his first two seasons. He has 29 points (eight goals, 21 assists) in 52 games this year with Florida.
Listed at 6’1 and 185 pounds, Frolik is a restricted free agent after this season. He has taken only seven faceoffs this year, though.
Salak, 24, is one of the top goalies in Sweden this year. He was rated the seventh overall prospect in Florida’s organization.
