On Thursday, before hosting the Buffalo Sabres, the Chicago Blackhawks  activated veteran forward Marian Hossa off IR.

Hossa, who will celebrate his 38th birthday on Jan. 12, had posted 23 points (16 goals, seven assists) in 34 games before being placed on IR on Dec. 27 (retroactive to Dec. 20).

  1. This is what this team has been missing. Mark my words, the hawks will play much better with him on the ice, and much more importantly in the room. All teams go through tough times in the season, all teams, no matter what the “wanna be GM’s “will vomit, go though doldrums. I will take this team against any other right now, for the cup. Show me another team with all the injuries and still in first. RTF. preached for years how Pecker Wienne was the only goalie that would win a cup. Then it was the ST. louis loosers. Wall, dump them all and rebuild. Who rebuild’s a first place team? Go Hawks or Go away. Here, now this must make it wall worthy,??????,!!!!!!!!!!!!.
