Blackhawks Exchange Minor Leaguers With Lightning

The Blackhawks traded forward Brandon Segal to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday afternoon for forward Matt Fornataro.

Fornataro, who will turn 27 in June, has 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 46 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL this season. Segal, who will be 29 in June, had 13 goals and 12 assists in 53 games as the captain of the IceHogs.

    Tab – Do you still think we should make a play for Gaustad? Obviously we’re sans Connelly.

    In regards to Toews Concussion that particular game was a very psychical game in which the Sharks took many liberties against Toews as I recall. Hears hoping he is healthy soon and that we meet up with those underachieving a-holes from San Jose in playoffs and sweep them as we did during our cup year.
