Blackhawks Lose Viktor Stalberg for 2-3 Weeks

At practice on Thursday morning, coach Joel Quenneville confirmed that Viktor Stalberg will miss the next two to three weeks after a knee-on-knee hit during Wednesday night’s win against the Red Wings.

He also updated the health status of a few other notable players.

Ben Smith is reportedly “OK,” but will not be rushed back.

Patrick Sharp might practice with the team by the end of the week.

Dave Bolland did not practice because of an “upper-body” injury. Quenneville did confirm that it is not related to his concussion from last year.

Dan Carcillo practiced after missing three days with the flu.
