Hockey officials made the final roster cuts for the team to represent Canada at this month’s World Junior Championships, and only one of the two remaining Blackhawks prospects made it.

Dylan Olsen, a sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, made the team and is expected to be a top-six defenseman for the team. He is among the Hawks top prospects after being selected in the first round of the 2009 Draft.

Brandon Pirri, who was in a heated battle with three other skaters for the final center spot on the roster, did not make the team.
