Blackhawks Prospect Tyler Motte Named First Team All-Big Ten

On Monday, Michigan forward Tyler Motte was named First Team All-Big Ten.

Motte, a fourth round pick (121st overall) in 2013 by the Blackhawks, has scored 29 goals in 34 games with the Wolverines this season.
He has also been credited with a team-high 61 blocked shots and has scored three game-winning goals.

This is Motte’s third season with Michigan; he had 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists) in 34 games last season.

The 2016 Big Ten men’s hockey tournament is in St. Paul, Minnesota, beginning on Thursday, March 17. Individual session tickets are available here.

  1. Motte has really come on this season. I hope he signs with the Hawks after his season is over so we don’t have to re-live the K.Hayes drama.
