  1. “Our great nightmare has ended”?

You figured a way to keep the “Man of many Names” off of the site???

  2. Explain to me why Forsling on this roster is a good thing. He has been a turnover machine and is the polar opposite of what Quenneville looks for in a defenseman. What am I missing about Forsling?

  3. Thank you, Tab. (- for everything that goes into maintain Committed Indians)

Rufus – “SKILL”. If Q can be patient, he may learn the defense. (Everybody can’t be big and slow?)

  4. Dickie, why is everything a subliminal shot at Quenneville? Why is it that Quenneville is always indicted for being in love with bad hockey players or washed up hockey players? It’s horsecrap is what it is. Forsling has been a hot mess on the ice, and I could care less if he has inherent physical skills that a plow horse like Franson and Rosival may not have. And recollection of 3 Stanley Cup championships proves to me the man knows a thing or two about responsible, disciplined defensive style hockey that wins games.

  5. RTF – believing (or recognizing) that Forsling has skill is a “subliminal shot at Quenneville”? Interesting. I believe any shots I take are pretty straightforward.

” Why is it that Quenneville is always indicted for being in love with bad hockey players or washed up hockey players?” – Handzus. Rozsival. Mashinter. Bollig.

“3 Stanley Cup championships proves” proves that it was a TEAM effort – players, coaching and training staffs, management team, AND, a little luck. I like Quenneville, but, the three Cups doesn’t make him perfect, the be-ALL end-ALL of coaches, or excuse him from personnel decisions that cost the team.

  6. What a breath of fresh air. It’s nice to converse in actual hockey stuff… Even if it’s in disagreement.

  7. tab,

this is obviously a labor of love for you: thanks for all the work that goes into it. it is very educational and generally stays on the rails of respect and civility towards all.

I think we can all help you if we commit to that tone in comments moving forward: now let’s goforfour in ’17! let the games begin!

  8. BTW, not sure who the idiot is using the 3 names to vent his uneducated frustration. A lack of respect and class with his use of foul language.
Forsling plays soft and shy. He seems to be the type of player Coach Q cannot digest in his lineup unless management needs him to make the team like Debrincat to sell potential and tickets. I see nothing wrong with Debrincat proving himself in he AHL 25-30 gamnes. And Forlsing putting on some needed muscle. SNUGGERUD might have better upside.

  9. imo- Forsling looked way worse this preseason- than – pretty much all of last year…

Besides- his- TO’s (trying to hold on to puck too long)… he was getting torched trying to stand guys up at Blue line… and Would have got KILLED versus Jackets/Foligno ( i think- who decided Not to lite him up) when Forsling reversed directions behind the net- and Foligno was flying at him… Really a Nice gesture by Foligno… Regular season game– and they are taking Forsling to dark room.

Only real plus- Forsling- might have best shot from points- getting them thru…

    D zone- scares me!

  10. Wall Vegas wanting to move a dman Mcnabb one that be available not much offense but moves the out good plus sure can play defence. He would add another big physical guy too the blueline too.

  11. Thank you Tab for the best Blackhawks site on the internet. Thank you for cleaning up the site.

The unrestricted vulgar language and personal attacks dehumanizes all of us.

Can’t wait for the puck to drop tonight!

  12. NAbb good at D, what about Garrison. Off only or more of two way Dman. I like NAbb cap hit way better.

  13. I would prefer we see what Rutta + Forsling are worth + bank the $2M in cap space until the deadline vs going out and overpaying for McNabb + Garrison who have as many glaring issues in their games as Franson. If you’re on the Vegas roster, it’s for one of two reasons: you weren’t good enough to make it where you were or your paycheck is bigger than your impact on the game. Hawks don’t have room for either of those scenarios on their roster.
