Blackhawks Release Graham Knott From Camp

On Thursday morning, the Blackhawks released Graham Knott from training camp.

Knott, the team’s second round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft (54th overall), skated 13:55 in Wednesday night’s loss in Detroit. He saw 2:02 of short-handed ice time and collected one hit in the game. The 18-year-old posted 43 points in 59 games with Niagara in the OHL last season.

Chicago’s camp roster is now at 58 players.

  1. Back to juniors he goes, with something to build on. He didn’t look terribly out of place last night … anxious to follow his progress over the next two years.

    More cuts to come tomorrow, a bunch will be assigned to Rockford.

  2. I did some research and Knott was ranked top a 50 player going into last season despite his young age. I believe the Hawks may have landed another gem w this kid. Sky is the limit.
