Blackhawks Sign C Martin St. Pierre

On Monday evening, the Blackhawks announced an agreement for veteran center Martin St. Pierre to join the Rockford IceHogs.

St. Pierre, who will turn 29 in August, played in Chicago over parts of three seasons between 2005-2008. He has three goals and five assists in 38 career NHL games.

After splitting the 2010-11 season between three teams in Europe, he returned to the AHL last year and posted 64 points in 73 games with Springfield.

IS THIS IT . IS THIS THE EXTENT OF BOWMANS STRATEGY TO REBUILD THE HAWKS IM PUTTING MY SEASONS TICKETS UP FOR SALE

  2. Will says:

    I’ll take ‘em!

  3. Norman Baron says:

    Hey Hawks

What happened to the issue of getting Frolic, Bickell, Montador, Hammer into a trade?

We have not increased our chances in moving ahead

We need a goaltender since Crawford can ‘t make those big saves

  4. Tab Bamford says:

What happened, Norman, is the Hawks are being smart and waiting for the value of their assets to increase. The best value they could get for Hjalmarsson is after Suter & Carle are off the market.

  5. agree wait till the free agents sign and then make the trade. I would see a trade with winnepig and chicago. trade to win: p. kane and frolic to chi. e kane and little

  6. jim says:

Bowman doesnt have the stones to make a big splash in FA nor make a hockey trade.. Its groom kids in minors and try an catch lightening in a bottle with aging FA

  7. kent says:
