On Tuesday, the Chicago Blackhawks announced that they have come to terms on a three-year deal with Rob Flick.
Flick, 21, was a fourth round selection (120th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft. He split the 2011-12 season between the Rockford IceHogs and the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.
Flick had 13 points (seven goals, six assists), 91 penalty minutes and was plus-two in 45 games with Rockford this season. He had 10 points (four goals, six assists) and 43 penalty minutes in 17 games in Toledo.
Listed at 6’3″ and 208 pounds, Flick is another big center that will continue with the organization moving forward.
