Blackhawks Waive Rostislav Olesz

On Wednesday, the Blackhawks placed Rostislav Olesz on waivers. In six games with the Blackhawks, Olesz had six shots on goal, zero goals, zero assists and was minus-one while averaging 9:06 in ice time per game.

He was acquired in a trade from Florida that sent Brian Campbell to the Panthers during the 2011 NHL Draft.

Dave Bolland will play against Vancouver despite not being 100 percent physically, and Sami Lepisto will take the place of injured Brent Seabrook.
