Brandon Saad Makes Blackhawks Roster

On Sunday afternoon, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville confirmed what many fans had been hoping for.

Brandon Saad will break camp with the NHL team.

Saad, the 43rd overall selection (and fourth by the Blackhawks) in the 2011 NHL Draft has had an outstanding training camp, playing in every game until Sunday’s finale in Washington. Quenneville confirmed his decision, saying Saad needed a day off before the regular season begins.
