Chicago Blackhawks Announce “Fan Salute” Program

On Thursday, the Blackhawks announced a “Fan Salute” program in the wake of the lockout.

According to the site, the team will be giving away 1,000 signed jerseys, 250 signed pucks, 100 signed sticks, 50 VIP experiences and tickets to every home game during the 99-day 2013 regular season. Fans need to complete a registration form on the site to be eligible.

The Blackhawks also e-mailed season ticket holders this morning. All season ticket holders have been automatically enrolled in the Fan Salute program, and will be receiving gift certificates for $100 to use anywhere in the United Center (team store, concessions, etc).

It’s great to have NHL hockey back. I’m extremely excited for the season, but will have a hard time forgetting about the past few months of greed by the league. Thank you for doing a promotion.

Its great to have the Hawks back. I’m very disappointed in the salute program as only fans in the US qualify. I have been a fan for 49 yrs & they are many more of us up here in Canada, I think we should all count. Go Hawks
