From Thursday until Monday, the Blackhawks will host their annual Prospect Camp at Johnny’s West.
On-ice sessions will begin on Thursday, July 7 starting at approximately 10:00 AM and running until 1:15 PM at Johnny’s Ice House West. On Friday and Sunday, the camp will be split into two groups that will each practice for approximately 75 minutes. On Saturday and Monday scrimmages (three 20-minute periods) will be conducted.

No players that have spent a full season as a professional – either in the NHL or Rockford (AHL) – will be at the camp. Dylan Olsen started last year in college, but finished the year in Rockford.
A few notes looking at the roster:
- Jeremy Morin, Kyle Beach and Marcus Kruger are NOT on the list.
- The team’s top five draft picks from the 2011 Draft will be there.
- 15 free agents have been invited (including three goalies).
- Four players born in Illinois have been invited.
