CONTEST 2: Win A Signed Copy of Stan Mikita’s “Forever A Blackhawk”

Here’s the second contest to win a signed copy of
Stan Mikita’s book, “Forever A Blackhawk.”

Question: Despite winning the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy twice (1966-67 and ’67-68), Stan Mikita is one of only three forwards in NHL history to pile up more than 1,450 points and at least 1,200 penalty minutes in his career.

Name the other two. (Hint: neither of them ever won the Lady Byng.)

This contest is now closed.

The answers were Mark Messier (1,887 points and 1,910 PIM) and Gordie Howe (1,850 points and 1,685 PIM).

For the many folks that answered including Paul Coffey, we’ll point out that the question asked for the two forwards that have reached the two statistical benchmarks; Coffey, of course, was a defenseman.

Once we verify the winner, we’ll post their name. Thanks for playing!

Check back next week for another chance to win a signed copy of this gorgeous book.
