Drafted: 2nd round (59th overall) in 2009 – Georgetown (OJHL)

Pirri represented the IceHogs in the 2012 AHL All-Star Game, and took steps towards a spot in the NHL with a strong season in Rockford. He posted two assists in five NHL contests during the 2011-12 season, but led the IceHogs with 23 goals and 33 assists in 66 games.

    Pirri has dominated in every league he has played in as a kid. Never played in the ohl or whl. and that makes it so remarkable that he got to the ahl at age 19. A huge step forward for him. I believe he is the Hawks top prospect al he needs is a good stint with the hawks to prove himself. He like every youngster will make mistakes but if the hawks stick with him I believe they will be very, very pleased. Like a Larmer maybe||||
