Jeremy Morin – Forward
DOB: 04/16/1991 Ht: 6’1 Wt: 195
Morin showed signs of having top-six potential in nine games with the Hawks in the 2010-11 NHL season, but a concussion slowed the start of his 2011-12 campaign. He’s added some weight and finished last season well (18 goals, 22 assists in 69 games). Morin also piled up 121 penalty minutes with the IceHogs last year.
The lockout will give Morin the opportunity to skate with other top prospects in the organization (Brandon Pirri, Brandon Saad, Andrew Shaw, Jimmy Hayes) in Rockford to begin the 2012-13 season, which should help the organization gauge how ready he is for the United Center. He is still considered a top-nine forward prospect at the NHL level.

The Chicago Black Hawks are well stocked at the forward position but need a scoring centre, Kruger is improving. Saad I think will be one of those top six forwards and Morin has the potention. Chicago should stick with these young players and improve their depth and add a top four defenceman and they will again contend for the cup.
