Drafted: 1st round (27th overall) by Carolina in 2009

Acquired on June 30, 2010 from Toronto with Viktor Stalberg and Chris DiDomenico for Kris Versteeg and Billy Sweatt.

Paradis has been a productive forward everywhere he’s played. He won the hardest shot competition at the 2009 CHL Top Prospects Game with a blast clocked at 95.7 mph.

He played the 2010-11 season with Prince Edward Island of the QMJHL, where he scored 23 goals and added 30 assists in 59 games. He joined Rockford for four games at the end of the regular season and scored one goal.

Since being drafted by the Hurricanes he’s already been traded twice; he was traded to Toronto for Jiri Tlusty on Dec. 4, 2009.
