Drafted: 4th round (120th overall) in 2010 – Mississauga
A physical center, Flick had an outstanding final season in juniors with Mississauga of the OHL in 2010-11, scoring 27 goals with 30 assists while piling up 167 penalty minutes with a plus-28 rating in 68 games. He then exploded in the OHL playoffs, registering 15 points (8 goals, 7 assists) and 31 penalty minutes in 18 postseason games.
Flick showed the best combination of speed, puck-handling and physical play of the young centers invited to the organization’s prospect camp. He’ll be a force in Rockford this season.
