  1. Hopefully he is a slow developer because he certainly hasn’t shown much for a 2nd rounder yet. Great size but that’s about it so far. He was on the same team as Gustav Forsling who is a year younger and had 6 goals and 15 assists.

  2. Sounds like another marginally skilled 6th defenseman type ala TVR and Gustafsson.

  3. Hjalmarsson had 2 goals and zero assists in 37 with HV71 before jumping the pond.

1 year age difference. That was Hjalmarsson’s age 19 season. This is Dahlstrom’s age 20 season.

  4. I see that the IDIOT Rufus is still alive and stupid. I’m sure he would have said the same thing about Hammer back then! Crawl back under that rock you crawled out from under.

  5. Ernie… spot on again… ( I am saying it way too lately)

I attended a prospect camp couple years ago… mostly drills … BUT- was happy/impressed with all of the Swede’s Skating/D guys… of course that doesn’t mean they are good… BUT- can see them as “fits” for the Hawk’s style … I will add Joni Tuulola (Fin WJC-20) … looked pretty smart, long, + skater (who also doesn’t score)… Hawks will be looking/needing 1 of 5 Euro D guys to be the next – Hammer/Oduya… and they will be fine… if 2 pan out… great… if none- Hawks are going to be Old on D really soon!!!

Will they all be Runblads??? or can 1 or 2 become Hammers???
