Joel Quenneville Picks Up 750th Win

With the Blackhawks 3-1 win in Carolina on Monday, head coach Joel Quenneville reached a major milestone: 750 career wins.

Quenneville is now 32 wins behind Al Arbour for second in NHL history in wins as a head coach. He won the Jack Adams after the 1999-2000 season, and has won two Stanley Cups – both with Chicago.

  1. Heard Jay Zawaski on the Score talking about the Hawks (possibly) pursuing Mike Babcock.

Babcock is arguably the best coach in the NHL and anytime you can have the best (in any aspect of the game), I say go for it!

  2. Quenneville for Babcock. I think that’s a push. The “best coach in the game” has 1 ring. Unless there is a coup in the locker room wanting Q gone, he stays.

  3. Q is going no where. Unless someone offers crazy money or he is demanding crazy money
he is here until he decides to want to run the organIzation or someone gives him a GM job to run their organIzation.
