  1. I really don’t recall Toews ever being this hot offensively. This has been going on for more than a week. I’m no expert, but one would have to believe the length of the NHL season calls for conservation of effort and energy.

  2. It looks like he’s skating better/faster than he was earlier in the season. If it was a back injury he was battling it would make sense. The Blues d-men are not the most fleet of foot but he blew by them like they were stuck in mud on his goal last night. Course – big props to Schmaltz for placing the pass perfectly so Toews didn’t have to break stride. A beauty play all around for sure.

  3. That’s something to laugh about, Ernie? Stay classy, Ernie. I wouldn’t wish mumps on anyone, no matter who it is.

  4. They’re not dying. And I wasn’t laughing at the guys that have it. More in the wild’s predicament that the Hawks are coming and they have that going around. Hopefully this isn’t Crawfords ailment and hopefullyit stays out of the Hawks locker room.

  5. Toews is an elite finisher and Schmaltz is on his way to becoming an elite passer. Excellent combination Q put together.
