Jonathan Toews To Receive Order of Manitoba

“For his tremendous contributions to sport and the community while serving as an exemplary model for Canadian youth,” Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews will receive the Order of Manitoba in a ceremony on July 9.

The Order of Manitoba is the highest civilian honor given in Manitoba, and honors current or former Manitoba residents for achievements in any field. This year’s recipients include a number of notable musicians and former NHL player Sheldon Kennedy.
