NHLPA Approves Realignment

Late Thursday afternoon, the NHLPA announced they had approved the proposed realignment of the league. Donald Fehr did, however, stipulate that the plan would be re-evaluated after the 2014-15 season.

    I am OK with it. It will ease up travel, a bit. Detroit and Columbus are the biggest benefactors. Chicago is now the most eastern city in the west and had the most to lose by not going East as well. Chicago and Detroit are only 45 minutes apart but Chicago will still have to go west coast twice a year.
