On Friday morning, the Chicago Blackhawks placed defenseman Nick Boynton on waivers.
Nick Leddy was also demoted to Rockford (standard practice at this point), but the Boynton move could/should indicate that another move may be coming from Hawks GM Stan Bowman.
The waiting game begins.
