    It was definetly a good month for Kaner (and the Hawks as whole)… now we just need keep rolling.

  2. JS says:

    Poor Duncan. He had the glory for one day!

  3. CH says:

    Kaner has really showed maturity and patience with his game this year. He’s taken a number of checks and kept the play alive, applied back pressure defensively, and done a great job setting up his teammates!

    88 = elite

    Through the first 5 seasons of Kane’s career, he averaged about a 1 to 2 goal/assist ratio (21/51, 25/45, 30/58, 27/46, 23/43). But then last season there was a noticeable change in Kane’s game where he was looking for his shot more and his goal/assist ratio changed with 23/32 last season and 16/16 so far this season. This has elevated him to the next level of elite players and put him into the Hart conversation, which for a undersized right winger is quite a feat.

    Hawks fans are truly blessed to have one of the best first lines in the NHL and the best right winger in the league isn’t even on the first line.
