  1. I’m not sure that’s a good thing for a team that needs as much concentrated and uninterrupted training camp time as the Hawks do. Colliton needs training camp to get all the players to learn and accept their roles in the style Colliton wants to play. Whether it’s man to man defense or whatever – they need a lot of instruction and practice time.

  2. ER, I don’t think training camp is disrupted much if at all in this case. It’s a night flight over. Those guys can practice here that day and sleep on the plane that night as per normal. It isn’t like they are crammed into tight economy seats. They get settled the next morning and probably have a practice in Prague the day before the game. Game day morning skate around as normal. It will be fun for players and the staff. Czech hockey fans will be jacked and enthusiastic to have an NHL game played there imo.

    Let’s Go Hawks!

  3. Perhaps the Hawks can squeak a couple of early victories out during a time in the schedule where I think points are the easiest to get. Those points add up huge as the season progresses. By the time we get to where we are now in the schedule teams are scratching and clawing for everything. Get the points while and when you can. Looks like we will need really them next year as we did this one.
