Report: Blackhawks To Recall Jeremy Morin

Word late Saturday night is that the Blackhawks will bring forward Jeremy Morin up from Rockford in time for Sunday night’s game against Calgary.

Morin has 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) and 56 penalty minutes in 23 games with the IceHogs this season. He missed the early part of the year while still recovering from concussion symptoms, and was recently suspended for three games by the AHL.

In nine games with the Blackhawks last year, Morin scored two goals and added an assist.

Daniel Carcillo is doubtful again with an upper-body injury.

Tab, I have to be the biggest J Morin fan out there. Can’t even tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to him joining this years line up, even if only temporary. So awesome!

Glad to see Morin back with the Hawks. Although the 3rd and 4th lines had a good game against Anaheim, I’m hoping Morin can add some scoring to one of those lines.
