Report: Hawks, Leafs Front-Runners For Defenseman Calle Rosén

According to Scott Powers at The Athletic, the Blackhawks and Maple Leafs are the front-runners for defenseman Calle Rosén.

Rosén, 23, is a left-handed shot listed at 6-0 and 180 pounds. He posted 19 points and averaged 18:44 of ice time in 41 games with Växjö in the SHL last year. In the Champions Hockey League last season, Rosén accounted for a league-leading five goals in 11 games – the most by any defenseman.

Former Blackhawks forward Adam Burish appeared in 19 games with Växjö in 2015-16.

  1. From what I can find about him talented and fast but skittish on the physical aspect of the game.

  2. MARK KELLEY, PIERRE GAUTHIER, and spoiled brat cry baby STAN BOWMAN need to get fired!!!

NOEL, DE BRINKAT, LOUIS, VINNY “STROZA, FORSLING, etc….more smurfs signed and drafted by this management!!!

    Embarrassing!!!

BTW, COACH Q needs to hear what HOSSA mentioned in his interview. He was visibly upset and disappointed for having played the entire second half of the season on the 3rd line with 2 AHL caliber players in KERO and HARTMAN. He loved playing with PANARIN and ANISIMOV, basically on the six.

And can we start drafting CANADIAN players again please!!! Enough with American born USHL players and free agents from the VODKA leagues from the KHL or CHEZCH SUPERLIGA…?

  3. I agree to a degree Hoss should be playing with Jonny him Saad were more dominant in the playoffs then Kaner Panarin Anesimov .. Q reluctant to play youth but instead he plays Tootoo ..
