I'll be interested to see how Ebbett figures into the rotation. Fraser's been really good in the circle and on the PK, but even strength has left a lot to be desired. Ebbett's skated better, in my opinion, than Fraser even strength and they're comparable in the circle. Madden & Toews are incredible, so we're good there.

Really, we're going to need Byfuglien to show up consistently for about three weeks (sound like a broken record?). Once Hossa's on the ice opposite Kaner, and Toews is likely between Sharpie and Steeger, the offense should be there, but the stupid mistakes can't happen and we'll need a fourth center to win faceoffs.

The Published "Hits Recorded" seem a little high. I was in attendance of the game against the Kings, and I didn't notice a lopsided hit tally for the Hawks, in fact, it felt like it was slanted the other way. As for the Ebbett goal, it looked like it came off his shoulder, and how depressing that this "Free Agent" pick up/trade, I don't remember which, recorded his first goal as a Blackhawk by being a post for Campbell to bounce pucks off of... I hope that the Return of Toews, which did appear to make a substantial improvement to the teams play, continues to improve the power play and really push the players to put some separation between the Hawks and the Rest of the division. It is going to be hard work with the upcoming Circus Trip.
