Shea Weber Stays In Nashville

The Nashville Predators announced early Tuesday afternoon that they have matched the 14-year, $110M offer sheet the Philadelphia Flyers agreed to with Shea Weber.

    Good for them. It was really a no brainer to match. As a side benefit, you’ll now have another owner who really really really really will want there to not be a lockout.

    Although, if they can’t get passed the second round again, I can’t wait for 365 days from now when Weber will be the hottest thing ever on the trade market. That would be a kings ransom.
