Sheldon Brookbank Makes Season Debut in St. Louis

Defenseman Sheldon Brookbank will make his 2013-14 regular season debut in St. Louis on Wednesday night.

He finds himself now the eighth defenseman for the Blackhawks; both Michal Rozsival and Mike Kostka have played in the Hawks’ first two games. Last season, Brookbank had one goal and 21 penalty minutes in 26 games with Chicago.

Not a huge Brookbank fan. However, I hope he does well so that his trade value goes up at deadline. Nothing against him but I would rather see Clendening in the rotation. Tab, do you think it hurts Leddy’s play paired with a different partner in each of these first 3 games?
