Blackhawks Sign F Jamal Mayers
The Blackhawks have signed forward Jamal Mayers to a one-year, $550,000 deal. Mayers, 36, won 54.1 percent of his faceoffs in San Jose last year(albeit only taking 98 draws), and was credited with 108 hits in 78 games.
