On the night the Chicago Blackhawks honored Marian Hossa’s 1,000th career game, the team extended the NHL’s best start with an electrifying first period.
It wasn’t the blow-out most fans wanted/expected, and might have taken a few minutes longer than the team/coaches had hoped, but the Blackhawks once again emerged with a victory on Friday night.
It only took 12 seconds for the Blackhawks to put the game out of the Blues’ reach on Thursday night in St. Louis.
The Blackhawks won. Again. And, as has become the trend with this team, the superstars stole headlines while role players made a major impact.
