In October, we looked at a few of the Blackhawks prospects that had performed well to begin the season. Now that we’re in mid-November, here is an updated look at some of the stars-of-tomorrow and how they’re playing this year.
On Monday, the Blackhawks assigned forwards Mirko Hoefflin and Ludvig Rensfeldt, and goaltenders Mac Carruth, Johan Mattsson and Kent Simpson to their junior clubs.
On Tuesday, USA Hockey announced the final roster for the developmental camp they are holding to select a roster for the IIHF World Junior Championships, held this winter in Calgary. And the Blackhawks were well represented on that final roster.

The Blackhawks assigned forward Hugh Jessiman to Rockford and sent Ludvig Rensfeldt to his junior club, Brynas IF, in Sweden. There are now 31 active players (17 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders) on the Hawks roster.
