It was during critical Game Five of the Stanley Cup Finals that Dustin Byfuglien decided to become a force against Philadelphia.
Going into Game Five, Byfuglien had been demoted from the top line with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane after being ineffective against Philadelphia’s Chris Pronger. That move sparked the bruising power forward, and Byfuglien scored two goals and added two assists. However, it was his huge hit on Pronger that, to many fans and media members, officially ended the series.
