Patrick Kane Scores Short-Handed, Game-Tying Goal vs. Nashville

April 24, 2010

With Marian Hossa sitting in the penalty box for five minutes and the clock running out, Patrick Kane scored the first short-handed, playoff-game-tying with less than a minute left in the history of the NHL.

Considering the circumstances (series tied 2-2, Hawks losing at home again, Nashville having momentum to potentially go home and knock the Hawks out of the playoffs), a case could be made that this, not the Cup-clinching goal, is the biggest of Kane’s career.
