Trevor van Riemsdyk To Miss 8 Weeks

The injury-plagued rookie season of defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk has sadly taken another turn. On Friday, during the Hawks game in Buffalo the team announced that van Riemsdyk will undergo surgery on April 7 because of a right wrist injury. The team statement indicates van Riemsdyk is expected to return to hockey activities in eight weeks.

  1. No worries 57. You signed, stuck with and will be rewarded with your name on the cup on the years we win for being a good hockey guy and not be a Flatlander and going/swatzaing for money and easy path. Good guys pay their dues/do the right thing get rewarded in the end. Just ask Hammer/Krugs.

  2. Great bounce back game for the Ice Hogs last night in Rockford. They trounced Grand Rapids 6-2 with McNeill, Ross, Hartman, and Johns all having really good games.

TVR was there at the BMO. Hinostrozza played his first pro game – just getting his feet wet – nice they got him some ice time.

I was looking for either McIsaac or MacIver to ask about then Tanner Kero might arrive and suit up but didn’t come across either.
