Tyler Motte Headed To World Championships

He might have been on the ice with Rockford this morning, but Blackhawks prospect Tyler Motte has travel planned for the coming weeks.

According to Chris Peters of CBS, Motte will represent the United States at the upcoming World Championships. He’ll be joined there by his linemates from the so-called CCM line at the University of Michigan: JT Compher and Kyle Connor.

Connor recently signed his entry level deal with the Winnipeg Jets, and Motte has already signed a three-year deal with the Blackhawks (beginning next season). Compher’s right belong to the Colorado Avalanche.

  1. Since we don’t have a game post I’ll comment on the last post as I always have. TVR is excellent, showing up on offense as well, very lucky to have this guy for almost free. No credit given to Hawks D otherwise, but what would you expect from national media. Other than then no goals going in, I think I just watched a perfect hockey game.

  2. I had to mention TVR by name, huh. Unbelievable. Great effort, big nothing to show for it, put a damn puck in next time. Fun to watch.
