At 17:53 into the first period on the tenth anniversary of the NHL debuts of Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat scored his first NHL goal at Montreal.
Youngest #Blackhawks player to score a goal remains… Grant Mulvey, 18 years 32 days.

he’s the real deal! Now if we could hold a lead… OFFENSE vs Defense!!!
First of many
Congrats on a beautiful first goal.
Holy shot. That was from far out and no screen.
He is a sniper. Very fast and accurate shot with both the slapper and wrister. But he’s also a very good passer and sees plays very well too – as in the assist to Anisimov (who finally buried a pass DCat put on his stick). There’s no doubt he’s offensively skilled enough to be a top-6 NHL’er. Now, if he can clean up the backhand passes at the blue line that give the opposing team a breakaway, which I think he will because he seems to be a kid that really gets it.
A potential budding star. Ain’t that good news for the Hawks.
Pretty sure he’s here to stay.
The kid will learn so much from the Toews,Kane ,Sharp and others .he will continue to be a scoring machine like he was with the Otters.
I was sure he would start in Rockford and i was wrong …he deserve to be on the big team .good move from the Hawks to get DCat in the trade for Shaw .
Love my Hawks
What great instincts this kid has!
The way he puts himself in position by finding the open ice is not something you can really teach…
Other teams will have to start paying attention to him & respect what he can do, thus opening up more space for those playing with him…
1st NHL goal is a GWG too!
oooops my bad, he scored the 1st goal…… I really gotta stop drinking so early….
….the Cat is back!….cute little Debrincat is quickly finding a home with Blackhawks……big junior star with Erie Otters and played on same line as Connor Mcdavid but will be recognized as an NHL star despite his diminutive size…..might be another Panarin!…
