World Junior Championships Medal Round Schedule Set

The schedule for the World Junior Championships is now set, and the Blackhawks will have prospects playing at a number of times.

Canada, with newly-signed defenseman Dylan Olsen, will play Switzerland on Sunday, Jan. 2 at 2:30 pm CT. Olsen signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Blackhawks on Friday, and will report to Rockford after his tournament ends.

The United States, featuring Hawks prospects Jeremy Morin and Nick Leddy, won their group and received a bye into the semifinals. They will play the winner of Canada-Swizterland on Monday, Jan. 3 at 6:30 pm CT.

Mirko Hofflin and Germany will play two games in the Relegation Tournament, first on Sunday and then on Tuesday.
