In 28 games for Nobles High School, Hayes netted 25 goals and added 42 assists for 67 points. Brother of Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Jimmy Hayes. Will attend Boston College in 2010-11. Needs to work on his skating, but has good size and plays a good two-way game.
On Saturday, the Blackhawks traded the #43 overall pick in the 2010 Draft to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Jimmy Hayes, Kevin’s older brother. The two will play at Boston College together, and both are now prospects in the Blackhawks organization.
