Adam Clendening’s First NHL Goal
Exactly four minutes into the first period of Thursday night’s game against the Calgary Flames, rookie defenseman Adam Clendening scored his first career NHL goal on a Hawks power play.

I realize it’s only one game but he looks really NHL ready. He’s just quicker and more confident than a guy like rundblad. As Judd Sirott said in the post game, you do not have to protect or hide him. Perhaps this is what allowing a guy to sharpen his skills in the ahl for 2 plus years leads to. This bodes very very well for the Hawks.
Top5 Farm.
No matter where the cap is each yr, ANA & CHI have the better longterm of all top/elite teams.
Congrats to Clendening!
not that it means anything….but it reminded me of shaw’s first game: first shift shaw had a fight with a legit tough guy and then he scored to start the second period.
the similarity being only that both started with a bang. its gotta be nice to come out and get something positive right away.
Craig N, you hit it on the head, Cden looked confident.
