Blackhawks 2015 Draft Class Updates

  • 2 (54) – Graham Knott, F
    2015-16 Season: Niagara (OHL) – 30 GP, 3 goals, 12 assists, 15 points, 30 PIM

Knott’s 12 assists are tied for fourth on the IceDogs, as are his 30 PIM. He has won 49.2 percent of his faceoffs this season as well; Knott has taken 382 faceoffs this year (winning 188), second on the team. Niagara (16-12-2) is in third in the Central Division of the OHL’s Eastern Conference.

  • 3 (91) – Dennis Gilbert, D
    2015-16 Season: Notre Dame (NCAA) – 17 GP, 2 goals, 6 assists, 8 points, 14 PIM

Notre Dame (6-1-2 in conference, 9-4-4 overall) is currently second in Hockey East. Gilbert’s 28 blocked shots lead the Fighting Irish, and he has one game-winning goal.

  • 4 (121) – Ryan Shea, D
    2015-16 Season: Youngstown (USHL) – injured

Shea was placed on 45-day IR by Youngstown in mid-September and has yet to appear in a game this season.

  • 5 (151) – Radovan Bondra, F
    2015-16 Season: Vancouver (WHL) – 30 GP, 7 goals, 9 assists, 16 points, 16 PIM

Bonda’s 16 points are good for second among WHL rookies on the Vancouver roster, but he ranks near the bottom of the team with a minus-13 rating. He has one power play goal to date this season. He has been invited to Slovakia’s camp for the 2016 World Junior Championships.

  • 6 (164) – Roy Radke, F
    2015-16 Season: Barrie (OHL) – 30 GP, 13 goals, 8 assists, 21 points, 22 PIM

Radke ranks seventh on the Colts with 21 points, but ranks third on the roster with 13 goals and is tied for the team lead with four power play goals. He also has one short-handed goal to date. Barrie (19-11-0) is in first place in the Central Division of the OHL’s Eastern Conference.

  • 6 (181) – Joni Tuulola, D
    2015-16 Season: HPK Hameenlinna (SM-liiga) – 29 GP, 4 assists, 10 PIM

Tuulola will attend training camp for Finland for the 2016 World Junior Championships.

  • 7 (211) – John Dahlström, F
    2015-16 Season: Frölunda (SuperElit) – 21 GP, 11 goals, 6 assists, 17 points, 2 PIM

Dahlstrom was loaned from his Frölunda team to Vita Hästen this week.

    Looking forward to watching some WJC games coming up in a couple weeks. Besides Bondra for Slovakia, I think Forsling and Olafsson has been invited to Sweden’s WJC camp. Not sure if there are other Hawks draft picks who will be trying out for WJC teams.
