Were going to look back on this Reichel draft and this draft pick and see that we made the right pick in getting two important very good players.

If the Hawks acquire Jones, I would imagine Boqvist is part of the deal, along with another player or two which would hurt to lose, but … I think I would do the deal providing Jones signs an extension (no brainer on that one), and Dach, DCat and Reichel are not part of the deal.

I’m probably higher on Kalynuk than I should be based on the small number of games he played last season, but I really like him and could see him and Seth as the Hawks 1st line of the future.

Just to add, I think Kubalik has played well for us and will show even more once he has better linemates, so I would be reluctant to part with him so I would hope to avoid giving him up.

Tony DeAngello is now available …probably at around 1million$ if he is interested in Chicago .his contract was bought by rangers a few hours ago .
Is it a good fit for the Hawks ? Not sure but who knows

DeAngello is hated because he is a Trump supporter. He is 24 years ago and one really good hockey player
He would probably turn into the Hawks best defenceman. No sense in trying to sign DeAngello when Bowman can trade young assets as well as picks and overpay to a guy like Seth Jones.

We must have traded the top 10 pick because CLB has it now must mean we got Seth Jones.

    Huge!

Top pair DEfenemen is worth a top 10 pick especially in the 10 area.

Now lets get tyhe 2nd top pair Defensemen from ufa in next 36 mths and add a bunch of hardnose players.

    Looking good for 2025!
