Blackhawks Activate Michal Handzus

On Saturday afternoon, the Chicago Blackhawks activated center Michal Handzus off injured reserve. Handzus practiced with the team Saturday morning but will not play in Vancouver. The Hawks have been without Handzus since Oct. 24.

Also, Marian Hossa is in Chicago dealing with a family issue and will not be in the lineup against the Canucks.
